Kling Image to Video: Versions, Pricing and Settings
How the Kling 3.x line splits up, what each route costs you in credits, and which one to reach for.
Kling Version Differences
Kling 3.0 is the flagship and the safest pick for hero shots. Kling 3.0 Omni adds reference-driven multi-modal control, so you can steer a shot with reference material rather than words alone. Kling 3.0 Turbo trades a little fidelity for noticeably faster renders at 1080p. Kling 2.6 stays on the older motion stack at a lower price, and Kling O1 is built for complex scene logic where prompt reasoning matters more than raw polish.
Kling Image to Video Pricing
Every Kling run is billed in credits per second of output. The rate changes with model, duration and resolution, and the total is displayed in the picker before you submit. Credits come in one-time packs, so there is no renewal and no expiry to track.
Which Settings to Change First
Start with duration: a 5-second take is usually enough to judge motion. Then raise resolution only after the shot works. If a prompt is being ignored, switch from Kling 2.6 to Kling 3.0 before rewriting the prompt — the newer stack follows instructions more closely.
